First time customer?

Registering

If you have not placed an order with Shop.TVNZ before, you can choose to register as a customer before purchasing.  This can be done from the “Your Account” page, or simply shop as normal, then head to the checkout.  On the page asking you to login, click on the “new customer” button, near the top, to register.  Please enter your details plus a password on the registration page.  Then click the “create account” button to continue.

On future visits to Shop.TVNZ you can simply login by entering your email address and password.  All info except your credit card details will be already filled in for you on the order form.

Selecting

When you find the item that you wish to purchase, simply click on “add to cart” and enter the quantity you require.  If you wish to buy more items, continue shopping before going to the checkout.  Items can be added or removed from your cart at any time.

Your credit card will be billed for items purchased at the time of sale.

Ordering

Order confirmation

Once your order is processed, you will receive an email confirmation of your order. If you have not yet received this, please firstly check your Junk Mailbox in case it has been inadvertently directed to that. If however you still have not received the confirmation email, please go to your account at Shop.TVNZ and check “Order Status”.

Can I add to my order?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to add to an order, as once it has been processed it is closed to ensure efficient processing and delivery.

Backorders

Is it possible to send my backorders all at one time?

In the unlikley event one of the products you have ordered is out of stock, we will hold your order and ship it when your order is complete. This is normally within 7 business days.

 

Payments

I think I might have been charged twice for my order?

Please contact us at Shop.TVNZ and provide your order number, and we will investigate this for you.

What currency is quoted?

All prices are quoted in NZ dollars and include New Zealand Goods and Services Tax at the rate of 15%.

What types of payments are accepted?

We accept all MasterCard,Visa and Debit cards, excluding American Express. Payments need to be cleared before your order is processed.

 

Privacy and Security

How secure is shopping online with TVNZ?

We use the secure Hosted Payment page solution from DPS to process online orders. Customers can see their cards being authorised and debited in real time, all in an SSL secure environment. What will you do with my details when I register?

Your customer details are confidential to you and to Shop.TVNZ.  Your delivery details are provided to our distributor for shipment.  We do not sell or give this information to any other organisations.  For additional information, please refer to TVNZ’s Terms and Conditions of Access.

What is your privacy statement?

By creating an account with Shop.TVNZ you consent to receiving electronic communications from Shop.TVNZ. These communications will include: account status updates, order status updates and other information relating to the service. Your personal details will not be made available to any third party apart for the purposes of shipment. About Our DVD Product

Our DVD product is produced in PAL format.  For zone information please refer to specific titles.  TVNZ captions for the hearing impaired are included where available.

What do I do if I need help?

Is there somewhere where I can physically view the products?

TVNZ does not have a retail store.  However our DVD titles are available at your local DVD retail outlets such as The Warehouse, Whitcoulls, JB Hi Fi, Paper Plus and others.
